PF>0.9, High Precision, Depth Dimming Step-Down LED Constant Current Driver

KP14622SPA is a PF>0.9 high precision, dimming type LED constant current driver control chip. Non-isolated step-down LED constant current power supply for a full range of AC input voltages. The KP14622SPA supports PWM input dimming with a minimum dimming depth of 0.1%, and supports standby mode with a standby power consumption of less than 20mW.

KP14622SPA integrates 500V high-voltage power MOSFET and 650V high-voltage power supply circuit, which can realize the independent power supply of the chip without starting resistance and auxiliary winding, while eliminating the traditional external VDD capacitor and COMP capacitor. It also greatly saves the cost of LED power supply while speeding up the startup time. The circuit works in the quasi-resonant mode of critical inductance current conduction. High precision current sampling technology combined with internal compensation can obtain high constant current accuracy and excellent input/output adjustment rate.

KP14622SPA integrates a variety of protection functions, including LED open circuit protection, LED short circuit protection, cycle by cycle overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, etc., to enhance the safety and reliability of LED power supply. The LED open circuit protection voltage can be continuously set through the ROVP pin.
