Non-isolated, Step-Down Active Power Factor Correction LED Driver Controller


KP106SPA is a highly integrated constant current LED controller, the chip adopts a quasi-resonant mode of operation, while using active power factor correction control technology to meet the requirements of high power factor, low harmonic distortion and high efficiency.


KP106SPA has integrated high-voltage start and high-voltage power supply circuits, simplifying system design and production costs. By sampling the whole cycle inductance current, the chip can obtain ultra-high precision constant current output, and the output line voltage and load adjustment rate are excellent. 


KP106SPA integrates complete protection functions to ensure safe and reliable operation of the system, such as: VDD undervoltage protection function (UVLO), cycle current limit (OCP), overheat protection (OTP), output overvoltage protection (OVP), LED open and short circuit protection.
