KP2202SGA is a high frequency high performance quasi-resonant current mode PWM controller for off-line flyback converters. The chip integrates a high-voltage start circuit, which can obtain fast start and ultra-low standby performance. The chip also integrates the function of input power failure detection and X capacitor discharge, which solves the problem of standby loss caused by X capacitor discharge resistance. The maximum switching frequency of the chip is 500kHz, the driving speed is fast, the capability is strong, the delay is small, and the application of gallium nitride and other high-frequency devices can greatly improve the product performance and reduce the product volume.

The KP2202SGA operates in valley floor on-mode, with the highest frequency configured through the corresponding pin, and with peak current jitter to optimize EMI performance. The chip works in green energy-saving mode and hiccup mode, and the standby power consumption is less than 30mW.
