Low cost, fast dynamic response off-line PWM control power switch

The KP35026VGA is a high performance and low cost PWM controlled power switch for 3.3V powered applications with simple peripheral circuits and few components. At the same time, the IC built-in high voltage MOSFETs can improve the surge tolerance of the system.

Unlike traditional PWM controllers, KP35026VGA has no fixed clock drive MOSFETs, and the switching frequency of the system can be adjusted automatically with the change of load. The chip adopts multi-mode PWM control technology and dynamic response optimization circuit, which effectively improves the dynamic response ability, optimizes the linear adjustment rate and the load adjustment rate, and significantly reduces the audible noise in the system. In addition, the internal peak current detection threshold can be automatically adjusted according to the actual load condition, which can effectively reduce the standby power consumption in no-load condition.

The KP35026VGA integrates complete protection features with self-recovery: VDD undervoltage protection, output overvoltage protection, cycle by cycle current limit, abnormal overcurrent protection, overheat protection and overload protection.
