High performance, low cost off-line PWM control power switch

The KP15052SPA series is a high-performance, low-cost PWM controlled power switch for off-line low-power step-down applications with simple peripheral circuits and fewer components. At the same time, the built-in high voltage MOSFETs can improve the surge tolerance of the system.

Unlike traditional PWM controllers, KP15052SPA has no fixed clock drive MOSFETs, and the switching frequency of the system can be adjusted automatically according to the load. At the same time, the chip adopts multi-mode PWM control technology, which effectively simplifies the peripheral circuit design, improves the linear adjustment rate and load adjustment rate, and eliminates the audible noise in the system work. In addition, the internal peak current detection threshold can be automatically adjusted according to the actual load condition, which can effectively reduce the standby power consumption in no-load condition.

The KP15052SPA integrates complete protection functions with self-recovery: VDD undervoltage protection, cycle by cycle current limit, output overvoltage protection, overheat protection, overload protection and VDD overvoltage protection.
